Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to expectant mothers during the labor and delivery process. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to ensuring the health and well-being of both mother and baby.

Duties:

• Provide direct patient care throughout the labor and delivery process
• Monitor maternal vital signs, fetal heart rate, and uterine contractions
• Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, as prescribed by the physician
• Assist with pain management techniques, such as breathing exercises and relaxation techniques
• Conduct patient assessments to identify any changes in condition or potential complications
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients on prenatal care, breastfeeding, and newborn care
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
• Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff

Requirements:

• Labor and Delivery experience, 2 years
• WI or RN Compact License
• AHA BLS
• NCC Fetal Monitoring Certification
• 50 mile radius rule
